Vintage Godinger Silverplate Grape Wine Coaster

A bottle of red, a fire going, and one small piece of silver that makes the whole table feel considered — the vineyard motif belongs to autumn, when dinner gets a little longer and wine stays out after the plates are cleared.

This vintage Godinger Silver wine coaster is cast with clusters of grapes and leaves around a pierced silverplate border, with a cork center made to cradle a bottle and protect the table beneath it. Marked Godinger Silver on the underside, the silverplate has developed a soft, aged patina that settles beautifully into the raised grape-and-leaf detail.
